Assistant Head for Enrollment and Outreach
Inez Odom has the privilege and responsibility of enrolling children who, through education, will become leaders in the world. She holds senior leadership responsibility as the Assistant Head of School for Enrollment Management and Outreach. Ms. Odom oversees the Office of Admission and Marketing and Communications department. Much of her role involves determining, developing and implementing the strategic enrollment management initiatives for the school. She is often the first point of contact for a prospective applicant and his or her family. This role has allowed her, in concert with her colleagues, to identify and enroll some of the most talented young people at varying stages of their personal and educational development.
With a Master’s degree in communication from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire, independent school education has provided the perfect blend of Ms. Odom’s skills. She is the host and producer of Roots and Wings: Voices of Independent Schools a podcast series designed to provide listeners with insights into various aspects of the independent school experience from assessments to the arts to alumni reflections to athletic aspirations. If it’s happening in independent schools, R&W is there.
